Happy days

There's a crop over att www.svenskscrapbooking.se

Here's a layout I did for one of the challenges:

Unfortunately my page got a bit crumpled before I got to take a pic. I used papers from Echo Park Papers collection "Happy Days". I just love that one! So bright, fun and happy! DD Camilla in the photos.

Get picky sketch

Hi there! I hope you all are having a great day. Here in northern Sweden fall has arrived. I love fall! Cool fresh air and gorgeous colors! I've had a bunch of photo shoots to get nice pics for all my awsome fall paper collections that will arrive in my mail box this week. But my youngest kids isn't that cooperative. Baby Junie is often half way out of the pic or turns her head just as I click... I'll have to bribe my older children to join me for another shoot. I need those pics! =)

Get Picky's September sketch challenge is up!
Here's the sketch:

And here's my take:

I used Crate Paper's Portrait collection. TFL! =)

Long time no see..

I'm so happy I finally got to meet my dear uncle again. It was 18 (!!) years since the last time. I'll make sure it doesn't take that long until next time. =)

Occational visits by Mr Mojo.

Aloha all scrappers. =)

It's been a hectic time. Both happy and sad. My stepfather and my husband's sister and oldest brother all died within a period of 3 weeks. My stepfather's been battleing cancer for many years and the last 6 months he rapidly got much weaker. So it was expected, but it happened sooner than we thought. My husband's siblings deaths came sort of right of the blue. A chock for us all, especially for my DH ofcourse. Since we live thousands of kilometers from them and their families and can't go there, it's tough.

Well, in the middle of all this, there were/are happy times too. Thank God! I've showed you some pics from our beach wedding. It was so beautiful and romantic! Just perfect. A nice moment to cherish for the rest of our lives. The second thing is that our oldest daughter will give birth to her second son, our second grand child, any day now. Can't wait to snuggle with him! =)

I haven't had much time or inspiration to scrap at all, but I get occational visits by Mr Mojo. Today I'll show you a layout I actually did for a challenge at the midsummer crop at MyScrapbookNook, but I didn't have the energy to take a pic and upload. I used a photo of our beautiful daughter Ida, taken when she was a bridesmade at a friend's wedding.

TFL!

Hugs & Blessings,

Annika

Love is in the air!

Yes it is! DH and I was married 22 years ago, but not in church, so we decided to go ahead and get the blessing from above too. The date is 27th of August and it will be outside on our favourite beach. =) Pray for nice weather, I refuse to have a plan B. LOL

Here's a layout I scrapped the other day. It's my fav photo of my hubby! Surprising title to a photo like that, huh? Not if you read the journaling:

"I love this photo of you! It portrays true masculinity at it's best. A proud father, taking care of/protecting his child is the sexiest thing there is!"

Don't you agree? ;)

TFL!

Take care and be blessed!

Precious moments

Aloha scrappers! Yes, I'm alive. ;) My mojo just took a vacation, but now it's back.

This photo is my favourite one from this summer. Baby Junie at the beach. It speaks volumes to me. It's one of those precious moments when you wished you could stop time. Summer, sun, beach, sea, happy playing children, pure joy and thankfulness! There's so much in life to be thankful for. And how easy it is to miss those moments, if you don't "stop and smell the flowers".

So push the stop button, open your eyes and enjoy the little things, the everyday golden moments. If you capture it on camera, why not enter this challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.

Blessings!

p.s. I used Pagemaps October 2010 for the design. d.s.

Scrappy days are here again!

Hi there sweetie pies! =)

I'm in a creative flow and it feels so good! To be creative, work with colors, shapes, patterns, really is an energy boost! Pays off better than sleeping! I know, because I've been scrapping 3 nights in a row, sleeping only 4-6 hours a night, and I'm still not tired. Not more than usual any way. ;) And I hope to have some scrappy time tonight too. =)

Here's a page showing my oldest daughter and her son. I love that photo! I used patterned papers from Swedish Maja Design. Gorgeous papers!

This one is about my daughter Petra turning 10 years old this summer. Where did the years go? Time really flies so fast it's scary...

And now the "center piece", in my opinion the best layout I've ever done so far. I'm so pleased with everything! Colors, photos, design... *happy sigh* My darling baby Junie is in the pictures. I used a cake paper (is that the right word in english?) as background, and the big pink roses are handmade by me. And this is the first time I managed to add a bling swirl without it looking misplaced. Yay! =)

Will I ever get this feeling of "perfect" again? I sure hope so! =)  TFL!

Hugs & blessings!

June sketch challenge at the Nook

I joined the June sketch challenge at the Nook , really loved the sketch! It suited my scrap style very well. =)

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take on it:

I used patterned paper from Graphic 45's "On the boardwalk" collection.

There's a nice blog candy over at http://ulligagulligasaker.blogspot.com/2011/06/bloggcandy-utlottning.html , go check it out! =)

It's been crazy!

I've been busy busy busy! We've painted the kitchen, had a major clean out at home that took days, 20 year old son graduated so we threw a party. *phew* I'm still not back on track, but at least I've got some scrappy stuff to show you. =)

This is my latest DT- layout for MiMas Scrapbooking. Patterned paper from My Mind's Eye, wooden flowers from Kaisercraft.

For this one I used gorgeous patterned papers from Swedish Maja Design! My daughter Maia in the picture. =) I thought since she's PINK I wanted some neautral colors for the balance.

Here's Maia again. This layout (DT for MiMa's) tells the story when Maia found her new never used dress and decided to wash it in the watering can. =) Patterned papers from My Mind's Eye.

Maybe you remember I told you about that new christian scrappy challenge blog, Scrapping Everyday Miracles? Well, I won their Kickoff giveaway! *yay* Haven't got it yet, but I'm waiting by the mail box every day. =)

Hugs & blessings!

Yay!

Long time no see! It's been a busy week or two. =) This easter I participated in an online crop at Scrappiz, and entered a challenge sponsored by Mimas Scrapbooking. I didn't win, but the sponsors liked my layout so much they asked me if I wanted to be part of their DT! Yay! Ofcourse I said yes! I have the house full of kids, not much scrappy time at all, but I have to try.
In january 2010 I sold everything scrappy I owned and took a break. I knew I'd start to scrap again, but I didn't know I would start again only 7 months later! =) And then I decided to really go for it. My goal was to join a DT and get published in a magazine. Well, one to go! =)

I got my first DT-kit last week and I really enjoyed it! Beautiful papers from My Mind's Eye and lots of other goodies! Here's my first page from the kit:

I'm looking forward to create with the rest of the kit!

Have a great week! Take care and be blessed!

DD Marika is blogging a lot and often it's "today's outfit". I scrapped one of those photos and here's the result:

I used patterned paper from G45's Steampunk and Le Romantique collections.

I'm on a roll! =)

Baby Junie has been so good to me lately! I've had lots of scrappy time in the evenings, since she's been sleeping  for hours without waking up. =) So here's another layout I did a couple of nights ago. DD Marika in the photos. TFL!

Clean and simple.

Purple has been a color I hardly ever use, but that's changed. It's one of my favourites now. Here's a layout that's really me. Clean and simple. DD Marika and DD Junie in the pic. A pic that says more than words can describe. Marika's love for her baby sister just shines in her eyes! *love* =)

Try the style of someone else.

I got challenged at the Nook forum to try a style that's not mine. I decided to try the style of
Yuka Hino from Japan, DT for G45. =) Here's her blog: http://nsnlso.blogspot.com/

She's an amazing scrapper and I really love her style! I picked her halloween layout. But it was hard! I'm so clean, straight and square! Well here's the result, I think it looks like my usual stuff, a bit more decorations though...

I used "Le Romantique" from Graphic45. My DD Marika and her boyfriend in the picture, and Marika wrote the journaling about the love for him.

Get picky april challenge

I made this page for the Get picky april sketch challenge. Patterned paper from My Minds Eye. DD Malin in the pics.

Elias

This one I made a couple of weeks ago. My first grandchild Elias in the pics. Isn't he just adorable?! =) Graphic 45 papers (Steampunk Debutante).

Follow your dreams!

Praise the Lord, I got scrappy time yesterday too! =) When I printed out this photo I was determined to make a cool page with black background and some bold colors. How wrong I was! It ended up soft/romatic style. DS Noa, 12 years old, in the pic.

A scrappy page

This weekend there were a bunch of challenges at the Nook forum. I fell in love with this one (#5)! You were to be inspired by a gorgeous picture, with flower branches.

And here's my page:
