Photo swap fun!

At the Nook there is a photo swap going on. I'm swapping with the very sweet and super talented Marinette from France. So I emailed her some of my photos and I got hers, and now were scrapping eachother's photos. So much fun! Here's my layout for her:

Duh!

I was looking for a sketch blog I remembered had multi photo challenges. I'd just found the Get Picky sketch blog again and decided to join their February challenge. But I wanted to join more sketch challenges and sort of remembered one in the back of my head, just couldn't remember the name. Well....duh! The one I was looking for WAS actually Get Picky... *roll eyes* It sort of hit me when I was putting the finishing touches to my layout tonight, using the sketch for Get Picky's february challenge, and I'd just turned it into a ONE photo layout... *roll eyes and big sigh* I was so eager to play with my February Nook kit and thought: "What the heck why not join a challenge while I'm at it." And I was in such a hurry I didn't read the rules... So I disqualified myself. =/ Well, well. I'm pretty pleased with my page so... I'll join Get Picky's challenge next month instead. =) TFL!

Valentine's day.

Today it's Valentine's day. I got some beautiful roses from my husband. And he got a pimped box of choccolates:

Winter pics.

It's been really cold here for several weeks, we have hardly been outside. Yesterday the weather was much better and I hurried out with the kids and got a couple of nice pics that I scrapped later in the evening. Don't you just love digital cameras and photo printers! =)

Paperbag minialbum

I got so inspired by my friend Cina who's made lots of beautiful minialbums, so I made one myself. It's Valentine's day next week so what suits better than a love album? I'm not really finished yet, I need to find (or take) some photos and find lyrics, bible verses, poems and write some loving journaling myself too. =) But here's how it looks now:

I used the gorgeous papers from Basic Grey's "Kissing Booth" line. Love the colors and patterns on them! Hopefully my album will be finished next week. Welcome back!

Scrapping again!

Finally I'm scrapping again. I joined a scrap lift challenge at the Nook and made a layout for the first time since November. I can't show you that one yet, since the challenge isn't over, but I can show you another one that I scrapped last night. So fun to be back on the scrappy road. =)
